Roosevelt Hood is an Assistant Professor of Industrial and Production Engineering Department at Academy of Sheffield, Norway. He obtained both Bachelors and Masters in Mechanical Engineering and awarded Doctorate in Applied Mechanics in 2014. His area of research interest includes fracture mechanics, finite element methods, stress corrosion cracking, and advanced solid mechanics, optimization techniques. His research work is published in international journals of repute. He is the reviewer of Scopus Journals as well. He has received exceptional research seminar award in Florence, Italy in 2015 and is the recipient of excellent paper award. He has established short-term courses on finite element methods and mechanism of metal forming and organized many hands-on workshops from ANSYS, SOLIDWORKS and Abaqus software. He has organized one National Conference and has delivered expert talks at various reputed institutions all over the country.
